Software Engineer
Job description
We are looking for motivated and passionate Software Engineers to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and integrating Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS), with a particular focus on PEMS (Predictive Emissions Monitoring Systems), AMADAS (Advanced Monitoring and Data Acquisition System), and Energy Management Systems (EMS), with attention to scalable and interoperable software architectures.
Responsibilities
CEMS
- Develop and integrate software solutions for emissions monitoring systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration with hardware and third-party systems.
- Optimize data analysis algorithms to improve the accuracy of emission forecasts.
- Ensure the security and reliability of the developed software.
EMS
- Develop and integrate software solutions for energy monitoring systems.
- Design scalable architectures for the collection, analysis, and visualization of energy data.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration with hardware and third-party systems.
- Optimize energy management algorithms to improve efficiency and sustainability.
- Ensure the security and reliability of the developed software.
Cross-functional Activities
- Prepare detailed technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with software development best practices.
Required skills
- Technical Diploma and/or Degree in Computer, Electronic, or related Engineering disciplines.
- Experience in software development with languages such as C#, C++, Java, or similar.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, MQTT, OPC-UA, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with data analysis and machine learning techniques applied to emissions monitoring (plus).
- Familiarity with data analysis and machine learning techniques applied to energy monitoring (plus).
- Ability to work in a team and strong problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
